Meet Dumpling!

Dumpling entered our care as a very shy and shut down little cat. We knew she was going to need a little TLC and some time away from the shelter so our wonderful pathways team found a loving foster home for her, where she could settle and relax.

Dumpling's foster carer let us know that after only two days, she already began feeling comfortable in her new space and exploring. She enjoys pats but does usually prefer all four paws to be on the ground.

When Dumpling is feeling more confident, she turns into a play monster! She loves zooming around and playing with toys, especially ribbon and feather wands, so lots of toys in her new home is a must please. This is also a great way to earn her trust.

Dumpling's adopter's will need to be comfortable with her hiding around the house at first, especially when visitors come over. She is a little on the nervous/anxious side and prefers the company of her favourite special humans who she bonds deeply to. She would thrive in a calm, quiet home where her routine is predictable, so for this reason she will need to go to a home with no young kids. She would also love lots of hiding spots for when she is feeling a little scared- think semi- covered cat beds, soft carriers, cat trees etc.
