Though still a little timid, Lacey is beginning to reveal more of her personality each day. Some noises and touches can still startle her, but with patience and love, she’s learning that life can be safe and joyful. One of her biggest milestones has been discovering that walks aren’t so scary after all—in fact, they can be enjoyable adventures! She’s also just starting to play with her foster siblings and seems to enjoy their company, a lovely sign of her growing comfort.
