About Kip - 2 Year Old Cattle Dog X Dachshund
✨ Meet Kip ✨
Kip is a beautiful 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog x Dachshund with a heart full of love, waiting for the chance to find her forever family 💜
She may be 14.2kg, but in her mind she’s a lap dog through and through. Whether you’re sitting or lying down, she’ll wriggle her way across you just to be close. Kip’s happiest moments with her foster family are when she’s snuggled up with her humans or surrounded by her pack.
Out in the world, Kip is still learning to feel confident. She would thrive in a home with a patient family who will guide her with kindness, and a confident four-legged friend or 2 to show her the ropes. Once she feels safe, Kip blossoms. She loves the dog park and enjoys playing and socialising with both big and small dogs.
She’s clever, affectionate, and eager to please, but like any young dog, she’ll need continued training and gentle encouragement as she settles into her new life. Because of her size and tendency to jump looking for comfort from her human when anxious, we feel she’d do best in a home without young children (under 8), unless they’re experienced with dogs.
Kip is a loyal, loving soul who has so much joy to give. If you’re looking for a best friend who will bring endless cuddles, devotion, and brighten your days, Kip could be the one you’ve been waiting for. 🐾💜
Kip is in foster care in Thornton, NSW, and is available for adoption to NSW/ACT/Vic/QLD. Her adoption fee is $600. She is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for ticks, fleas and worms.
