About Ninja
Meet Ninja – a big, laid-back boy with striking green eyes and a love for life’s simple pleasures. Don’t let his name fool you; he’s far more of a couch potato than a stealthy warrior. This independent, low-maintenance cat is happiest when he’s soaking up the sun, stretching out on a fluffy blanket, or reminding you it’s mealtime with his routine-loving nature.
Ninja is affectionate in his own charming way. He’ll happily rub up against your legs, offer head bumps, and keep you company on the couch or at the end of your bed. He’s not overly needy, but he makes it clear when it’s time for connection. With his easygoing, low-maintenance nature, Ninja is the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a cat that enjoys affection while still valuing his independence.
When it comes to people, Ninja warms up gradually. He’s happy to stay in the room and take his time, never rushing but never hiding either. Once he trusts you, his affectionate side shines through. While he’s not the biggest fan of young children, he would thrive in a calm, adult household where he can relax and bond at his own pace.
He’s curious and calm, with a “no care” attitude that makes him easy to live with and endearing to be around.
Ninja has lived with other animals before, and while dogs don’t bother him, he isn’t too keen on sharing his space with other cats. He’d be best as the only cat in his new home. What he’s really searching for is a peaceful household—perhaps with an adult or older family members—where he can enjoy his routines, explore a safe outdoor space, and then settle back in for his favourite activities: sleeping, eating, and repeat.
If you’re looking for a loyal couch companion who will quietly brighten your days with his presence, Ninja may be your match. With food, sunshine, and a soft blanket to curl up on, this gentle giant will be one very happy boy – and he’ll make you just as happy, too.
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Ninja sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
