About Lighter
*I WILL BE AVAILABLE ON SATURDAY 30TH AUGUST AT THE PUPPY ADOPTION DAY HELD AT THE NORTH MELBOURNE LOST DOGS HOME*
Lighter spent some time in foster care before making his way back to our shelter in preparation for our puppy adoption event! Here's what his phenomenal foster carer had to say about him:
"Lighter is a very good and friendly puppy. He will sit outside and wait for the green light to play with strange pets very politely. He isn't much of a barker at home, and will pee on the pee pad obediently. When someone calls him, he will appear. If you are on the sofa, he loves to accompany you quietly. He's a very happy puppy, and is often wagging his tail with his human friends. He LOVES food. When you return home, he will always be the first to bound over and greet you. He will buddy up to you very happily. When you leave the house, although he can be a little reluctant, he rarely barks. Lighter is an excellent companion dog.""
Puppies require patience, routine and consistency. They are still learning about toilet training, how to be polite and how to be on their own. This little puppy is still young and needs guidance to grow and thrive. We recommend that they get put into puppy school to help with socialisation as soon as possible. We also recommend that you use treats and toys to help reassure your puppy of the right way to be a dog.
All of our puppies are fed on premium Royal Canin food while at the Shelter and in foster. We recommend that you purchase a bag at the time of adoption (40% off from our friends at Royal Canin) so your new best friend can settle in to the home in the best possible way.
This little baby is still growing and learning so needs enrichment and things to keep them busy so they don't get bored at home.. that's when sneaky chewing can happen!
*Do I sound like the perfect fit for you and your family? Come and adopt me on Saturday the 30th of August!*
