About Lara
Hi, my name is Lara! I am a 2-year old black and white Border Collie X and I am a sweet and affectionate girly.
Although I can be a little bit shy around new people, once I get to know you my personality shines! I will be your best sidekick and love nothing more than a cuddle on the couch. My favourite thing in the whole world is swimming and running. I would love to find a pawrent I can spend time doing these things with.
I can take a little bit to warm up to other dogs but after living with my two foster siblings, I have discovered I love to play tug and chase with them! I would be happy as an only dog or to a home that has one other sibling.
I know how to sit, shake and have been working on my recall and leash manners with my foster mum, which have been getting better and better every day. I am very food motivated and love to do obedience and trick training for some treats! I settle well in a crate and sleep comfortably in there at night. I need a home where I can continue confidence building and have strict boundaries as I can be a little bit unsure when I don’t have a regular routine.
I would love to find a family where I can get lots of cuddles and kisses but would be best suited to children over twelve as I am still learning not to jump when I get excited. If I sould like the girl for you, send in an application today!
Lara is located in QLD.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
