Simba

Simba is a 3yo, purebred golden labrador. He's your typical, loving and lovable young lab. He gets along fine with all the dogs he's been in contact with while being in care, large and small. He likes cats; all he wants to do is lick them, but they're not going to have any part in that!. . Simba was saved from the pound the day before he was due to be put to sleep. He is such a beautiful young dog, we think he deserves a chance to live. . . . He hadn't been taught anything by his previous owners. He now knows the "sit" command and i have been trying to teach him to "stay" and "drop", but we aren't there yet. He also likes to help take the washing off the line (before its dry lol) which is a bad habit he has formed probably due to being left at home and bored. I am also working on changing this behaviour. . . . Typical labrador, simba is very food focused which will help with his training. Dog training classes offered through most vets and dog clubs would be fun and beneficial for both simba and his new owners. So if you have the time and patience to teach this gorgeous young lab, i know he will be an absolutely sweet, loyal dog. . . . *** please see more photos of simba at
