Maggie May

Maggie's story is a sad one of obvious long term neglect and cruelty. She was a surrendered to the pound as her owner could not look after her any more which is clearly obvious from the photos, she was in the most dreadful state. She had feces and urine matted on her back end the smell was horrendous. How this poor little soul still is so pleasant after living in such a bad state for so long is remarkable. A dch volunteer seen her sad eyes and plight and rescued her. After 2 hours with 2 people, 2 baths, a shower, blowdrying and a lot of combing we accomplished something small but to her had made such a difference. Maggie may was sore and sorry and just wanted to sleep but after a very restful nights sleep she has come alive, no longer is she cold and in pain she is now the bubbly little girl that was hiding inside. Maggie is quiet, super loving, ok with cats and dogs, not food aggressive and loves to cuddle. She would fit perfectly into any family, her coat will grow and then require regular brushing and clipping. She is a house dog and must have access to the house via a doggy door or similar.
