About Sophie
Meet Sophie, the Dolly Parton of the Dog World. She’s blond and beautiful, sweet but sassy, clever and cute, loved by everyone and made for centre stage, as you’d expect from a former show dog.
Sophie is a 7 yo standard Poodle with impeccable manners and a very friendly temperament. She was reluctantly surrendered to us by her devoted owner who was no longer in a position to care for her.
Sophie was born in 2018 and weighs 25 kgs.
She walks beautifully on a leash and loves her daily walks. She looks forward to socialising on these outings because she loves everyone, humans and dogs alike.
For some years, she has been a regular visitor to a local aged care centre where she delights the resident dog lovers with her canine antics and affectionate nature. Check out the video and photos of her on a recent visit to Warwick’s Akooramak.
Sophie is highly adaptable. She settled into her multi-dog, multi-cat foster home with ease.
She has had no exposure to children since coming into care and would probably prefer a quiet, adult-only home to which she is accustomed.
Sophie is a polished performer at life and would suit any active home where she is an integral part of a loving family, enjoys indoor privileges and has the opportunity for daily exercise. We particularly encourage active retirees to express interest in Sophie.
This darling girl has known nothing but love and that’s what she deserves in the next chapter of her life.
