About Mia
Please note we are located 6+ hours NW of Melbourne.
Meet Mia, a delightful canine companion ready to fill your life with love and joy. Mia absolutely adores car rides and is always excited to jump in for a new adventure. Whether it’s a leisurely walk through the neighbourhood or cuddling on the couch, Mia is happiest when spending quality time with her human friends.
Mia is both house-trained and accustomed to using a doggy door, making her a great choice for someone who enjoys a well-mannered friend. She has excellent leash manners, although she's still adjusting to her blackdog harness. Her ideal home would be with a retired single or couple, or someone who is home most of the time, as she cherishes the company of her human companions.
While Mia is friendly with other dogs, she prefers to be the only pet in the household to have your undivided attention. She’s not fond of sharing her beloved humans, but she’s okay with having kids over to visit, as long as they’re older than eight and understand her need for gentle interaction. One thing to note is her focused attention on cats; she’ll be most comfortable in a feline-free home.
Mia is a food enthusiast, with favorites including chicken, carrots, and eggs. Her treat-loving personality will certainly bring a smile to your face as you share meal times together.
If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion who thrives in a tranquil environment filled with love and attention, Mia is the one for you. This sweet pooch is ready to make your home her sanctuary, where mutual love and companionship are the center of every day!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
