Description:
🥰 Casey is a delightful, sweet, cuddly but also playful girl. She is happiest at your feet, walking beside you and occasionally nibbling your ankles 😂.
After a day of expending some of that working breed energy, she is ready to curl up for the evening on your lap or the couch with a movie on. 😴
She has enjoyed getting out and about in her doggy stroller, taking it all in while she waits for her next vaccination.
She is very ‘cattle dog’ like in her behaviours - loyal, alert, energetic with a tendency towards herding, particularly of younger children. She absolutely loves kids, but this might be bit much for younger ones to navigate while she is still learning her proper boundaries.
She is also a sensitive little soul, and misses you when you are gone (although will settle after a little cry) and it breaks her heart if another dog doesn’t appreciate her bitey affections… 😂
🐕 After a gentle introduction she really enjoys the company of other playful pups (who can handle her cattley play) but is even more human focussed! She will make someone the most loyal and devoted constant companion. She needs someone who understands her working dog needs and is ready to give her the love, time, engagement, training and exercise that her clever, active brain requires. 💡
She is doing well with her crate training and sleeps overnight provided she still gets a wee break in the early hours. She is learning to sit for her food - which she loves which should make training her a dream 💚

🐥 While under the care of Willow Tree Sanctuary, our dogs are desexed (at the right age) microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested (6 months+), treated monthly for parasites and have any other necessary vet treatment required.
Note: We recommend all pups and their adopters attend puppy and obedience training to give them the opportunity to become the best versions of themselves 🙌

Adoption details
Steps to finding you forever friend:
1. Complete adoption application via our website for be reviewed for suitability.
2. If approved, contact will be made to arrange for a meet and greet.
3. Invoice and adoption email to applicant.
4. Meet & greet takes place.
5. If successful, vet history & waiver document, and contract is sent to applicant.
6. Applicant is required to view the Adoption Contract online and sign.
7. Applicant is required to pay the full adoption fee.
8. Once steps 1-7 have been completed, the animal can commence trial.
9. After trial is complete, confirmation email and microchip form will be sent to the applicant.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
