About Samira
Samira is a stunning young Pharaoh Hound with a heart as golden as her coat! At just 7 months old, she’s already showing what a gentle, affectionate, and fun-loving companion she will be.
This sweet girl has met lots of dogs and gets along beautifully with them all. She’s also been around cats, horses, and livestock without a fuss, making her a wonderful all-rounder for a variety of homes. With people, Samira is friendly, loving, and happiest when she’s cuddled up close — especially at night when she likes to snuggle in.
Pharaoh Hounds are one of the world’s most ancient breeds, known for their grace, athleticism, and loyal nature. True to her heritage, Samira is playful, curious, and has an incredible turn of speed when she stretches her legs. She loves to zoom and will thrive in a home that can give her plenty of outlets for her natural energy. Despite her athletic side, Pharaoh Hounds are also famously affectionate “couch companions,” often described as sensitive and deeply bonded to their people — and Samira is no exception.
She is crate trained if needed, but what she loves most is being included in daily life. Because she’s very food-motivated and eager to please, training will be a breeze for her new family. She’s still gaining confidence with the big, wide world, but each outing shows her blossoming more and more. She’ll need someone patient and understanding who can take things at her pace while continuing to build her trust.
Her absolute favorite thing? A big run in nature. Bushwalks, secure open spaces, or any outdoor adventure will light her up. Afterward, she’ll be just as content to curl up at your side and remind you of her famously sweet Pharaoh Hound “smile.”
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will make you laugh with her playfulness, melt your heart with her cuddles, and inspire you with her bravery as she grows into the world, Samira may just be the perfect match.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
