Meet Claude, a spirited little boar with a big personality!
Claude, a handsome brown piggy born on 6th April 2025, is on the lookout for a special friend – someone he can share zoomies with, popcorn alongside, and simply enjoy life together. Having been born within the refuge, Claude started out as part of a trio, but as often happens when the teenage hormones kicked in, he began to squabble with his mates. To keep the peace, he now lives separately but still right next door to them, where he can see and hear his buddies without any drama.
Speaking of drama – Claude is affectionately known as a bit of a “drama queen.” If something doesn’t meet with his approval, he’ll let you know with loud, expressive wheeks that make his personality shine through. Despite his strong opinions, Claude is a sweetheart at heart and loves nothing more than a cuddle. Once scooped up, he enjoys the comfort and closeness, even if he’s not one to stay still for too long.
When it comes to food, Claude is truly motivated – eating is his absolute favorite pastime. He isn’t fussy and will happily munch his way through a variety of veggies, hay, and pellets. The only exception? Carrots. He’ll eat them eventually, but they’re definitely not at the top of his list, preferring to save them for last! His enthusiasm for all other foods makes him a joy to feed, as he’ll always greet you with eager anticipation.
Because he’s still young and full of energy, Claude doesn’t often sit still for long stretches of time. This makes him better suited to a home with older children or adults who understand his active, cheeky nature and are happy to let him be his lively self.
Claude has so much love to give, along with his comical character and endearing quirks. All he’s missing is a companion – a piggy friend who can match his energy and share in his adventures.
