She’s an energetic, adventurous, and athletic girl who thrives on having a job to do. With her working dog drive, she would be a great fit for a hobby farmer needing a smart hand with cattle, or an active person who wants a daily running, biking, or hiking partner. She’s happiest when she’s on the move and will need an owner who can match her adventurous lifestyle.

Her ideal human is someone confident and experienced with working breeds – she’s a strong, determined little dog and not suited to a soft approach. For the right person, she’ll give her whole heart and 110% every day.

Don’t be fooled by her toughness though – Penne is also a total cuddle-bug! She adores people, loves rolling around on the ground for belly rubs, and will happily leap into your lap for affection. She has been great with children, gentle and patient even around toddlers, and loves being part of family life.

She’s very dog social and thrives around other dogs, enjoying chasing games, tug of war, and curling up with a buddy for a nap when playtime is over. While not suited to busy off-leash dog parks, she would thrive with regular playdates, pack walks, and structured adventures with other friendly dogs.

Penne is currently with a trainer and her obedience is on point, ready to be handed over to her new family. She is quick to learn, switched on, and responsive to cues. She loves her walks and is a star both on and off lead. She also relaxes easily in her crate and sleeps soundly through the night. Penne travels beautifully in the car, making her an ideal companion for adventures big and small.

With her striking markings, gorgeous ears, and adorable stumpy tail, Penne turns heads wherever she goes. She is quick to approach new people in a happy, curious way, always hoping to make friends. She loves to explore the world, but will happily return to your side for affection or to rest quietly by your feet.
