Though he may take a moment to size up his surroundings (as any good Sheriff would), once he feels safe, he’s all in. Sheriff loves attention and thrives on gentle affection. He’ll happily trot over for a scratch behind the ears, curl up beside you for a nap, or trill softly to remind you he’s nearby. He’s a quietly devoted companion, ready to be your loyal sidekick.

Sheriff is okay with older, respectful children who understand how to give him space when he needs it. However, he prefers to be the only pet in the household, where he can enjoy his well-deserved peace and soak up all the love for himself.
