About Basil
Meet Basil - Your Future Furry Shadow!
🐾 3-Year-Old | Domestic Longhair | Grey, White & Tabby | Certified Snuggle Expert 🐾
Looking for a cat who will be your constant companion, couch co-pilot, and bedtime buddy? Meet Basil - a gorgeous, floofy three-year-old who believes personal space is optional and cuddles are essential.
Basil is a professional velcro cat - wherever you go, he's right behind (or on) you, purring like a motorboat and ready to offer unconditional affection. Whether you're working from home, binging your favorite shows, or curling up with a book, Basil will be there, reminding you that life is better with a cat in your lap.
Though he's past the wild kitten stage, Basil still has a playful spirit and a heart full of curiosity. Like his namesake herb, Basil is always growing - learning new ways to love and be loved. He's the perfect blend of mellow and mischievous, affectionate and independent when he needs to be.
Basil would suit almost any lifestyle - singles, couples, families, or retirees. All he asks for is love, some sunny spots to nap in, and the freedom to follow you around like the adorable little stalker he is.
Ready to be adored every day? Basil is ready to make your home his forever. 🐱💕

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
