Betty

I am trying a new home to see if i like it. Look at that face. . . . Beautiful betty is a lovely dog who is in the prime of her life. When betty arrived from the pound it was obvious that she had never had a dental in her entire life so the vet had to remove eight teeth and also put betty on a long course of antibiotics. Her mouth has now cleared up completely and she is able to eat her dinner with no issues at all. Betty is a delightful dog who must have been in pain with her teeth but she did not let that dampen her spirits or her beautiful personality. She loves a cuddle and, when you pick her up, puts her paws on your shoulders like she is giving you a cuddle back. Her favourite place at the moment is in front of the warm fire at night. . . . No more being outside in the cold for betty! she needs access to the house 24/7 via a doggy door or similar so she can be in the sun and enjoy the garden, or inside the house snuggled up in her bed if she prefers. Betty is fully house trained and loves going in the car as she just snuggles down and enjoys the trip. Betty walks well on the lead and has plenty of energy for long walks to the coffee shop but does like you to take her own treat along as well! betty is in care with three other small dogs, two male and one female and there are no problems with any of them. Betty has a lovely soft coat which can be kept in good condition with regular baths, brushing and grooming to keep her looking at her best. Whilst she would enjoy the company of another dog (not a young one) betty would be just as happy being a devoted companion to a 'stay at home' couple. Beautiful betty is not a barker and would make a wonderful companion to someone looking for a kind natured and mature lady. Betty comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $400 and is not available for adoption outside nsw. She has also had a recent major dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic). If you would like more information on betty or to arrange to meet her, please phone 0466 690916 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading. Before phoning or emailing, please check denise's rescued dogs in foster care on www. Paws. Com. Au for any updated photos and to make sure this dog is still available for adoption. Listed 30 june
