## Meet Mara

Mara is an absolute sweetheart with so much love to give. After spending much of her life fending for herself as a stray, she's discovering just how wonderful it is to be safe, loved, and part of a family.

She adores being around her people and is happiest when she's close by, whether she's watching what you're doing, playing with her favourite toys, or soaking up gentle pats. Once Mara trusts you, she'll happily curl up beside you in bed and has even started climbing onto her foster carer's chest for cuddles—a beautiful sign of just how far she's come.

Because Mara spent so long surviving on her own, she's a little socially awkward with other cats and is happiest as the only feline in the home, where she can enjoy all the love and attention to herself.

Mara can be easily startled, so she's looking for a calm, quiet home with older children (12+) who will respect her gentle nature and give her the time she needs to continue building her confidence.

This beautiful girl has already come such a long way. Now all she needs is a forever family to show her that she's home for good.

Mara is desexed, microchipped, up to date with her vaccinations, and has been treated for fleas and worms. She's ready to start the next chapter of her life with someone special.
