About Guts
LOCATED IN NEWMAN - CAN NOT FLY TO PERTH
Meet Guts
If you’re looking for a little dog with a big personality, Guts is your girl. She’s full of beans, adores people and dogs, and has a quirky side that will keep you laughing.
Guts has lived with cats since she was a puppy, and somewhere along the way decided she might actually be one herself. She grooms like a cat, snores like a little bulldozer, and has a hilarious habit of raising her paw to other dogs as if to say, “your turn to play!” She’s also been known to hiccup in her sleep...cuteness overload.
This happy little pocket rocket is very food-motivated (her name says it all!) and quick to learn when treats are involved. She loves fetch, tug, and even chasing a laser pointer, and she’s always up for playtime. With her bursts of zoomies followed by couch naps, she’s a mix of both energy and chill.
Because she craves company, Guts would do best in a home with another playful dog or with people who are around often. She’s currently an only dog and gets bored when left alone for long shifts, so she’s taken to digging her way to the neighbours’ yard just to make some canine friends! She isn’t trying to escape, she’s just looking for fun.
She’s great with people once introduced, friendly with tradies and visitors, and would enjoy a lively home where she can be part of the action. She hasn’t lived with young kids but her small size and bouncy nature means she’d likely suit older children who enjoy an energetic, affectionate little mate.
Guts is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and in foster care in Newman. She can’t fly to Perth, so she’ll need a local adoption or someone willing to make the road trip to meet her.
If you think your home could be Guts’ happy place, send through an adoption application and we’ll arrange a meet and greet.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.
