Meet Eddie – Your One and Only!

Eddie is a six-month-old dachshund who is ready to find his forever family. This sweet boy is completely devoted to his people – he will happily become your little shadow and give you endless loyalty and love. Eddie wants nothing more than to be someone’s “one and only.”

While Eddie tolerates other dogs, he really prefers not to interact with them and would much rather be the only dog in the home. He is avoidant with other dogs and has no interest in making canine friends – but with people, it’s a different story! Eddie is obsessed with his humans and thrives on their company. He is also fantastic with children, making him a great companion for a big family or a house ready to give Eddie their full love.

As with all dachshunds, it’s important that his new family understands the breed and their potential health challenges. Eddie’s adopters must also be prepared to take out pet insurance to ensure he always has access to the care he may need throughout his life.
