About Spindle
Meet Spindle – the little survivor with a big heart 💙🐾
Spindle’s story almost ended before it began. He was found in a rural pound, just a tiny kitten on the euthanasia list through no fault of his own. But Spindle was given a second chance, and now he’s showing us what a truly special boy he is.
At first, Spindle was timid and unsure of the world loud noises and sudden movements made him want to hide. But with gentle reassurance, he’s slowly discovering that people can be safe and kind. Every day, his confidence grows. These days, you’ll often find him peeking around the corner, curious to see what you’re up to, or curling up nearby once he decides you’re trustworthy.
Spindle has a soft, thoughtful personality. He isn’t the kind of kitten who comes racing into the room demanding attention instead, he’s the one who will quietly work his way into your heart with his gentle eyes and tentative purrs. He would love a calm home where he can continue to blossom at his own pace.
Because of his shy nature, Spindle would do best in a household without dogs. He would also be happiest with older, respectful children who understand that he may need a little space at first. In the right environment, Spindle will reward his family with the deepest kind of love the love that comes from an animal who has learned to trust.
Spindle may have started life on the edge of survival, but now he’s ready for his true beginning: a forever home where he can feel safe, cherished, and adored for the sweet soul he is. Could you be the one to give Spindle the happy ending he deserves?

Adoption details
*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed
