Hi, I'm Mello - and I'm ready for a fresh start in a loving forever home!

I haven't had the easiest start to life. My siblings and I were rescued from a backyard breeding situation where we were scared, dirty, and very hungry. But thanks to some kind humans and lots of care, I'm now healthy, safe, and finally ready to find a family of my own.

I'm a typical 7-month-old pup - curious, cheeky, and always up for an adventure. I LOVE toys (the squeakier the better), and I could play all day if you let me! Because I'm a Harrier x Pointer, I've got lots of energy and a brain that needs regular workouts, so I'm hoping for an active home that can keep me busy both physically and mentally.

I'm still learning all the important life skills, like toilet training and how to walk nicely on a lead. Puppy school would be amazing for me - not just to learn the basics, but also to build my confidence and help me become the best version of myself. I've been through a lot, so I sometimes get unsure in new situations. Having calm, patient people around me makes a big difference.

I'd possibly enjoy a home with a doggy friend (after a meet and greet), but I'd also be happy as your only pet if you're home a lot and have time to keep me company and entertained. Because of my breed mix and natural instincts, I'm not suitable for a home with cats or small pocket pets - they're just a bit too tempting for me.

I adore people and will happily trot over for cuddles and pats. I'd do best in a home with secondary school-aged kids or older, as younger children might be a bit much for me while I'm still learning to feel confident and safe.
