About Honey
Meet Honey, an adorable 1-year-old Maltese x Shih Tzu with boundless energy and an adventurous spirit. With her enchanting personality and zest for life, Honey is eagerly searching for a loving new family to share her days with.
Despite her small size, Honey is always on the go. An outdoor enthusiast, she's ready to explore parks, gardens, or any space where she can bask in the sunshine. Her energetic nature will encourage you to enjoy the great outdoors.
Honey's affectionate nature and playful demeanor make her an endearing companion. Although she is quite spirited, she is in need of a bit of pampering and care. A few grooming sessions paired with some lead training will help her shine even brighter and allow her to walk with confidence on your adventures together.

Adoption details
The adoption process at the Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter is relatively easy. We ask that if you are interested in an animal, please apply via pet rescue, the Shelter staff will then review applications and phone selected applicants for a meet and greet. We do not take expressions of interest over the phone.
Once you have been selected as the right applicant for the animal, all that is required by you is to make a payment at the Animal Shelter by eftpos ONLY (Via phone can be arranged after a meet and greet with the animal), provide details for the microchip and registration paperwork and then pick up your future pet from the Council veterinary service provider once they have been de-sexed and vaccinated, if not already desexed and vaccinated (Council staff will advise you when the animal is booked in at the veterinary clinic.
The following are the re-homing fees for dogs and cats,
Entire Dog (to be desexed after adoption) - $400.00
De-sexed Dog (de-sexed by previous owner) - $275.00
Entire Cat (to be desexed after adoption) - $300.00
De-sexed Cat (de-sexed by previous owner) - $175.00
Entire Dog( to be desexed after adoption) 8years or older - $250.00
De-sexed Dog (de-sexed by previous owner) 8 years or older - $150.00
Entire Cat (to be desexed after adoption) 8 years or older - $150.00
De-sexed Cat (de-sexed by previous owner) 8 years or older $100.00

Microchipping (identification details will be placed on the NSW Companion Animal Register)
Lifetime Registration (within NSW)
Vaccination
Worm, flea & tick treatment
Vet Check
De-sexing (if required)

Please Note: All dogs and cats rescued from the Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter are required to be de-sexed. Dogs and cats will not be sold as entire under any circumstances.
If you are enquiring for a dog and your household has children, dogs or cats please notify the animal shelter.
We are unable to test our dogs with children, but we can do limited testing around cats and other dogs.
The Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter is open Monday to Friday 10.00am till 2.00pm or via appointment.
