About Oskar
Oskar requires the following in his new home:
- No other dogs living in the home.
- Enjoys daily walks
- Loves pats and cuddles.
- No small animals living in the home.
Meet Oskar. He is a 8yo British Bulldog looking to find his very own family. Oskar has been with Michael from ProActive K9 Training for sometime now and we are assisting with his adoption.
Oskar was originally surrendered to Michael as he was having issues living with another dog and had a few other minor issues. His previous Owner was an extremely committed owner who has spent years and thousands of dollars on Oskar but things became too much for the other dog in the home so she had to make a difficult decision. She has been involved in Oskars rehab and has enjoyed multiple visits with him since surrendering.
Notes from Michael about Oskar:
Oskar is pretty much the perfect boofhead. He has a strong Bulldog opinion, enjoys a daily leisurely stroll, is crate and house trained, loves a cuddle and butt scratch and really enjoys playing with his humans. He loves anybody that has hands, and even more so if they have a treat for him!
Untested with cats, will chase the chickens if they are out, but ignores them behind a fence. He walks well on a lead, is not reactive or difficult to walk. He really just loves a good cuddle with his people and having a good day nap (complete with some Bulldog snores!)
Oskar has shown he just doesn't like other dogs. He is no longer outright aggressive, and is living with others, but he just doesn't make friends. He walks with a Great Dane and a Golden Retriever regularly, but he really is just looking at having a family to spoil him without sharing their attention.
Oskars health history: He is in perfect health, shows no allergies or skin issues.
Oskar has had his airways and soft palate operated on, as well as his eyes. So even though he is 8, he has had all of his Bulldog Vetwork done, and is in fit and healthy condition. He enjoys a good walk and doesn't lag or struggle to breathe.
Oskar will come with training support from Michael at ProActive K9 Training if there are any issues and Michael will require a signed form stating if Oskar cannot be kept for any reason, that Oskar must be surrendered to him as that was his agreement with the owner.
He can literally live in a townhouse as long as he has a spot to toilet and gets out for a stroll. Someone home more often ideally but he doesnt show any separation related behaviour.
*PLEASE read the ‘profile’ thoroughly before enquiring in detail.*
*Please only apply if you are ready to meet and adopt this pet now, and if all family members are in support of the adoption.*

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care or we will assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
