About Alfalfa (66651)
Alfalfa is a small, 12 kg bundle of energy, with an interesting breed mix of 'we're not really sure'. Possible kelpie, whippet, terrier mix, this personable pocket rocket was found as a stray and is now coping happily with shelter life. Alf is very engaged, if not a bit rude, with handlers, and learning to calm, and use his manners when meeting dogs. He has the potential to be very dog social with the correct management. Alf is working on all aspects of lead walking, exploring new spaces and listening to his handler. Alf could do well with a young child, but not an overly busy home with multiple young kids and time poor parents. He could also do well with very fit, older person who is up for a challenge and not a lap dog. Alf would excel with some structured dog classes, maybe leading into dog sport. Alf has passed his cat test and may assimilate with other animals within the home, with handler guidance. Alf is a versatile little dog, with heaps of energy and a mind that is ready to jump straight into training.
