About Rupert
Meet Rupert - A Glass and a Half of Joy!
Breed: Chocolate Labradoodle
Age: 11 weeks
Personality: Sweet as Cadbury, rich as Lindt, and just as irresistible!
If you've ever dreamed of a pup who melts your heart like chocolate on a warm day, Rupert might just be your perfect match. This fluffy little truffle is a delicious mix of affection, curiosity, and playful mischief - all wrapped up in a soft, curly coat that looks good enough to eat (but please don't).
Rupert is only 11 weeks old, and like any premium confection, he needs the right ingredients to thrive:
Guidance - He's still learning the ropes and will need a patient family to show him how to be his best self.
Socialisation - Like all puppies, Rupert is a sponge right now, soaking up every experience. Puppy playdates, new sights, and gentle exposure to the world will help shape him into a confident adult.
Training - Smart and eager to please, Rupert has all the makings of a star pupil. Positive reinforcement, consistency, and early training will go a long way.
Love - Above all else, Rupert craves connection. He'll happily be your little shadow, snuggle buddy, and loyal sidekick.
He's the kind of dog who'll grow into the heart of your home, turning ordinary moments into sweet memories. Whether you're heading out for a walk or curled up on the sofa, Rupert brings that "glass and a half full" feeling wherever he goes.
Could you be Rupert's forever fondue?
This little chocolate drop is ready to melt into the arms of someone who'll give him the love, structure, and time he deserves. In return, you'll get a lifetime of tail wags, nose boops, and unconditional sweetness.
Don't wait too long - like all the best treats, Rupert won't be available for long!💜🐾

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
