Meet Bixby, a very handsome boy.

If you are looking for a loving companion, Bixby could be the dog for you. He is happiest when snuggling up to you, being stroked and scratched behind the ears, or walking beside you. He is also happy to chill out when you are busy or preoccupied as long as he can see you.

Bixby would prefer his humans to be home more often than not and he would be quite happy being your one and only, but could be okay with a calm similar aged female dog. He’s all ears and will alert you if he hears unusual sounds outside. He isn't overly interested in balls, and doesn't take much interest in toys, although I have noticed he is starting to take them from me and will enjoy them for a while. I think this aspect of play could be explored with him.

Bixby responds well to consistency and love. He is very smart and picks up the rules fast. Continuing basic training reinforcement will secure his attention and make him a devoted lovable companion.

He sleeps on his own bed all night as long as he can see you. He loves a cuddle before going to sleep and doesn't get up before morning once settled. If you like to sleep in, so does he but will be up as soon as you are. All in all, he will be your loving shadow.
