Quinny

Quinny is a cuddly, soft-natured blonde girl who wants nothing more than to be close. She follows her person around like a little shadow and loves curling up for pats, leaning in for affection, or snoozing with her head gently resting on you. She’s a total sook: affectionate, loyal, and always seeking connection. If she thinks you’ve forgotten to give her attention, she’ll gently nudge you or stare at you until you remember your cuddle duties. She takes her role as lap companion very seriously.

She’s new to pet life but settling in beautifully. She’s fully house-trained, uses the doggy door like a pro, and has no trouble polishing off her meals. She’s social with other dogs, has a sweet, friendly nature, and is adjusting quickly to all the new sights and sounds of home life. Out and about, she’s alert and curious, and like many young dogs, can sometimes get overstimulated when there’s a lot going on. With time, guidance, and consistency, she’s likely to settle well as she matures.

At home, Quinny’s energy is a lovely mix of calm and playful. Half the time she’s a sookie little cuddle bug, stretched out for long, lazy snoozes or melting into your arms. The other half, she’s tossing toys, zooming from room to room, dashing in and out of the house, and collecting random treasures (shoes, tins, socks — you name it) to bring to her bed. She’s still learning what’s hers and what’s not, so having things she is allowed to destroy, like cardboard boxes (her absolute favourite), keeps her happy and entertained.

She also likes to be front and centre when it comes to affection. If another dog is getting pats, Quinny will happily wriggle her way in, sometimes with a dramatic sigh or a well-placed paw. It’s all part of her charm. She bonds deeply and wants to be wherever the love is.

One of her sweetest quirks is her fascination with reflections. She’ll stop to admire herself in the oven door, a mirror, or a glass window, tail wagging proudly like she knows exactly how cute she is.

Quinny would thrive in a home where she’s allowed to be close, cuddled, and cherished, but also where her playful side is welcomed. She’s soft, spirited, and full of love, ready to give her whole heart to someone who sees all of her and loves her for it.
