About Ollie
Hello folks, my name is Ollie and I am looking for a loving forever home where I will be an integral part of family life. I will soak up all your love and cuddles and in return you will be rewarded with a loyal affectionate companion. You will be showered with unconditional adoration and endless tail wags. I am one of those rare hounds, a Velcro boy when you are home, but happy to snooze away the time with my resident fur friends when you are not here.
I love food, walks, car rides and playing with toys…. If you are busy I will throw toys around by myself and catch them before they hit the floor. Yes, I’m goofy and full of zest for life, love and fun. I am quick to learn, just a beautiful big black boy, responsive and happy.
I do have a kink in my tail and have lost part of my tongue but that all happened in my dark past. I have no problem eating or drinking .. food glorious food, bring it on, I’ll eat it all. I clean up my bowl so well, you will wonder if you washed it.
Of course I’m house totally house trained and respect your furnishings etc… but I do chuck toys around and never put them back in the toy box.
I would probably be better suited to a home with older kids, if I get excited I may try and sit on your lap! Imagine a giant lap dog! I don’t sleep on the sofa or human beds, but if you invite me up I’m sure I can oblige.
I love walks and meeting strangers for pats but need some more time to learn that I just can’t keep moving all over the place. When the next smell beckons, I get the urge to “mark” it. I don’t mind strange dogs, so long as they respect my personal space. Slow positive introductions and some gentle guidance help me understand I can’t get too excited. I am definitely not aggressive though, just super inquisitive as I have never seen so many different types of dogs before being saved by the FOTH family.
Go on, please give me a loving forever home, you won’t ever regret it.
