'Red'

'Red' is a loving smart young male kelpie. He does not appear to have had much training, but he has adapted to being led very quickly. He is starting to show interest in chasing balls etc. He is biddable, and will come back quickly if called, even in an open paddock situation (see video).
He is very friendly, and trusting with humans. He loves attention and pats and strokes. He has not shown aggression, even to strangers.
He plays very happily with his female friend who was found at the same time as him (see video). He also played happily on his first meeting with a non-aggressive de-sexed male dog (see video).
He does not appear to be overtly aggressive to other dogs, but is a bit food and bone possessive with other dogs, and so care should be taken.
He has been exposed to livestock in a controlled situation whilst in our care. Whilst not chasing or being aggressive to stock he did not appear to have had much training as a stock-working dog, even though he loved jumping up on the ute and driving around.
