About Yellow Fellow
Yellow Fellow was lost and hurt, unable to fly with a broken metacarpal - a bone at the very tip of the wing. Unfortunately, it was a while between his capture and coming into care, and by the time he was with us, it had already fused, so it will always hang very low and hinder his flight.
Despite his struggles Yellow Fellow has remained sweet and resilient, he is ok with being handled and doesn’t mind the occasional treat from your hand. He would thrive either indoors or outdoors- just with a few minor accomodations to support him and his wing.

Adoption details
Thank you for considering adopting from FFPR!
Once you have expressed interest in a bird, we ask that you formally apply to adopt via our adoption form (this can be done ahead of time) https://forms.gle/cjP9TZJcKAgkze6A6
From there we will work with the adopter to find a bird that suits their lifestyle, and organise a meet and greet at our shelter. We offer continious support post-adoption and are always available for help or questions.
For any questions in regards to adoption, please reach out to adoptions@frecklesfellowship.org
