About Daya
Daya is a rabbit available for adoption in Brunswick (Melbourne, Victoria).
Daya is a bright, curious bunny who enjoys being part of daily life. Confident and people-focused, she loves keeping an eye on everything happening around her and brings a cheerful energy to the home.
She thrives in environments where she can explore safely, interact with her guardians and remain connected to the rhythm of the household.
A little about Daya:
🐾 Curious, confident and people-oriented
🐾 Enjoys interaction and exploring her environment
🐾 Very expressive communicator
🐾 Would likely bond best with a gentle male rabbit
🐾 Thrives in homes where she’s part of daily life
Daya’s sister Doja has already found her home, and now it’s Daya’s turn to find guardians who can match her lively personality and love of company.
She has a wonderful habit of rising up on her hind legs to observe the room, keeping watch like a tiny supervisor making sure everything is running smoothly.
Daya enjoys interacting with her people and greeting familiar faces with a curious sniff before continuing her daily adventures.
When meeting someone new, she usually pauses to observe first. Once she feels comfortable, her friendly and inquisitive nature quickly appears.
She is also very expressive when communicating her needs. If she feels ready to hop down and continue exploring, she may make a small digging motion to politely let you know.
Daya would flourish in a home where she has space to move around, explore and interact with her guardians throughout the day.
She connects well with people and would enjoy living with guardians who appreciate an interactive bunny who likes to stay involved in household life.
Daya has shown that she bonds best with male rabbit companions, and she would suit guardians who understand rabbit bonding and are happy to support this process with patience and care.
Life with Daya often feels lively and engaging.
Mornings might begin with curious exploration and checking in on what her people are doing.
Afternoons often include supervised roaming, investigating new spaces and enjoying quiet interaction.
Later in the day she happily settles in for a well-earned rest after a busy round of household supervision.
For guardians looking for a confident bunny with personality, curiosity and a genuine love of company, Daya could bring energy, humour and companionship into everyday life.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
