About Slinky
Meet Slinky – Your New Best Friend in the Making!
Slinky is a sweet, cuddly young pup who’s happiest when she’s close to her people. Whether she’s curled up in a sunny patch for a nap, following you from room to room, or building herself a ridiculously adorable nest out of pillows and blankets at bedtime, she’s full of love, charm, and goofy puppy personality.
Already a quick learner, Slinky has mastered the basics like toilet training and sitting politely before meals – a testament to her eagerness to please and clever mind. She's well on her way to being a model canine citizen, but like all young dogs, she’ll benefit greatly from continued training and socialisation as she grows. Her future family should be prepared to invest time and patience into ongoing learning, helping her build confidence, consistency, and good manners for life.
Slinky is adjusting beautifully to home life and loves her daily walks, where she gets to sniff out all the latest neighbourhood news. She’s just as happy tossing toys around the lounge as she is curled up beside you, especially if she can snooze in your lap. And when it’s time to stretch her legs, her gazelle-like prancing is pure comedy gold – all legs, all enthusiasm, and completely heart-melting.
She’s a friendly girl who loves meeting other dogs, especially at the park where she enjoys a playful game of chase. While she hasn’t met any cats, her keen interest in birds suggests she may need guidance around small animals.
What Slinky Is Looking For
🏡 Her ideal home:
Slinky would thrive in a home where she can be part of the family action – sharing daytime adventures and nighttime snuggles. While she’s okay with short periods alone, she’s a true companion dog and would love to spend as much time as possible with her humans. She’d be happy as an only pup or with a friendly doggie sibling.
⚡ Energy level:
Medium. Slinky enjoys a good burst of play, followed by a solid nap. She’s still young, so she has plenty of energy in short, goofy bursts, but she’s also excellent at chilling out.
👶 Suitability for children:
Slinky has met a few children at the park and, while polite, was more interested in everything else going on. She may be better suited to a home with older kids or dog-savvy children who understand her boundaries and give her space when needed.
🐾 Other pets:
Slinky loves friendly dogs and enjoys socialising at the park. She hasn’t met cats yet but does seem quite interested in chasing birds, so careful introductions and supervision would be essential if she’s to live with smaller animals.
Why Training Matters
Slinky is off to a great start, but like any young dog, she’s still learning how to navigate the world. She’ll need continued positive reinforcement training to help her become the best version of herself. Her ideal family will be committed to guiding her through her adolescent phase with patience, structure, and love.
If you're ready for a fun, affectionate, slightly goofy companion who will reward your investment in her with loyalty, laughter, and endless cuddles – Slinky is your girl.
