About Brisket
Big heart. Bigger personality. Unstoppable spirit.
Brisket is a fun-loving, resilient pup with a zest for life that’s contagious! She’s the kind of dog who greets every new day — and every new person — with a wagging tail and a heart full of joy.
Brisket is a social butterfly who adores meeting people and gets along well with other dogs. She currently lives with a medium/large dog and has been friendly with all the dogs she’s met so far. While she hasn’t met cats or kids yet, we think her enthusiastic greetings might be a bit much for small children — she’s still learning her size and might accidentally knock someone over in all her excitement.
Playful, curious, and clever, Brisket is already picking up on training and routines and would thrive in a home committed to her continued growth. She’s the perfect sidekick for an active, adventure-loving household, always up for a walk, a game, or a cuddle session on the couch.
🏡 Brisket's Ideal Home
Brisket would do best with a family that can provide her with:
- Ongoing training and positive reinforcement
- Daily enrichment and activities
- Plenty of love, structure, and companionship
- A doggy sibling would be a bonus!
⚡ Energy Level
She’s still a pup, so her energy needs are manageable — but don’t be surprised if her adventurous spirit shines as she grows!
🐶 Good with Other Dogs?
Yes! Brisket is very dog-social and currently lives with another medium sized dog. She is still learning so dogs who can tolerate puppy silliness and staffy wrestling are important.
🐱 Good with Cats?
Not tested but with a slow introduction and positive experiences we are sure she could adjust.
👧 Good with Kids?
Brisket hasn't met any children yet. Due to her size and bouncy puppy energy, she'd be best suited to a home with older kids or dog-savvy little ones.
Medical notes
❤️ Brisket came into care after being found with a broken femur. She’s since had surgery and has made a full recovery. The only lasting impact is that one of her legs is now slightly shorter than the others, giving her a tiny, charming limp — but it doesn’t slow her down one bit! She’s not in pain, but joint supplements are recommended to support her long-term health.

We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
