About Percy
MEET PERCY!
Percy is a beautiful desexed male, domestic black medium hair lad with pretty white markings . He is a very friendly and affectionate young man who loves cuddles, pats and plays with cat toys! When it comes to toys he will fetch you a toy when he is ready to play and will scream at you until you play with him. So he would love a home where he can be spoilt with play time and attention!
Percy is a very talkative cat and will speak to you at any chance he gets once his comfortable around you, he knows his name and will come to you when called. If you softly blow on him or raise your hand up above his head he will lay down and roll over for you, although it looks like he wants you to pat his stomach he normally doesn’t like it. Percy can be shy around new people and loves to hide, but once he’s comfortable with you, you won’t be able to get him off. He loves to be pat but isn’t always a fan of being picked up unless he sits on your hip like a baby. He likes to follow you wherever you go and either sit in your lap or try and crawl into your pants when you’re on the toilet or sitting down in general, therefore he also tries to get inside your top or in the bed to keep warm!
Percy likes his food, he has been fed a variety and happily eats everything and uses his litter tray like a good boy.
Percy is reacting favourably to our cat friendly dog, smooching her and rolling on his back to play so he wouldn't mind sharing his home with another cat-friendly dog.
Percy would love to get out of foster care and back into his very own home <3

Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
