About Brandy - 4 Month Old Staffy X
Brandy is a gorgeous 4 month old, female, Staffy x puppy.
She is a clever girl who can sit, use the doggy door, is comfortable going up and down stairs and travels well in the car. She has almost mastered toilet training and should be fully toilet trained in no time with a little help from her new family.
Brandy loves people and is friendly, affectionate and very playful. She loves her toys but is also happy to snuggle up for a cuddle.
She will grow up to be a medium/large dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. Brandy will need ongoing socialisation with dogs and people to be the best dog she can be.
Although she loves spending time outside in the sun, Brandy needs to be welcomed inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. Brandy currently sleeps inside in a playpen all night. She doesn’t wake in the night or toilet in her pen. She will be a wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. Puppy proof fencing with no small gaps is a must and higher fencing will be required when she is fully grown.
Brandy’s new home should have :
- Daily walks, healthy food & plenty of chew toys
- Fur friend or devoted person who is home more often than not
- Kids 8+
- Needs a family or person committed to her ongoing training and socialisation
Brandy’s adoption fee is $800 which includes desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Brandy is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she’s 5 to 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
