About Colin
*In foster care in Canterbury, Sydney*
Sweet and sociable, funny and fierce (in the best way), Colin is a gorgeous boy who gets along with everyone!
We reckon he's the Energizer Bunny reincarnated - but once he's done with playing, racing and exploring he enjoys nothing more than a cosy cuddle! He's not fussy either, ready to get up-close-and-purrsonal with his favourite humans and feline friends alike.
Colin comes complete with a few interesting hobbies too, first and foremost being licking! Nothing is safe from his sandpaper tongue - not his brother Bernard, his older foster brother’s feet nor human fingers, arms, faces and toes. He also loves toys with bells, and wrestling matches with anyone who's up for it :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Colin is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I think I'll fit in pretty much anywhere, as long as I'm surrounded by love and receive loads of attention! Whether it's a quiet single-person household or a bustling family one, I don't mind - I'm very easygoing :)
I'm always quick to jump on a lap and need to be right next to someone all the time, purring loudly when you love on me, so ideally you'll be around more often than not and always have time for a snuggle!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I give Big Kitten Energy! - alternating intense play sessions with my brother with long naps curled up together.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Though I haven't met any children yet, I think my temperament is well-suited to family life. If your kids want to play with me and let me sleep on their laps, even better!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I adore other cats so much! Both my brother Bernard and the older cat in my foster home are great fun, and amazing snugglers too.
I don't have any experience with dogs so that's harder to say.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
