About Bluey
Introducing Bluey!
Bluey is a (quite large but glorious) Domestic Medium Hair born 1st December 2020.
Bluey was transferred to us from another facility. As they were coming close to being over capacity, they reached out to multiple rescues for help but unfortunately no one came forward for him. Knowing what his potential outcome would be, we brought him into our care to try to find him a beautiful & loving home.
Since being at the facility, Bluey has been a sweet boy with staff & volunteers and he's clearly absolutely stunning to look at. While he was untrusting of staff when he first arrived, he has settled in nicely and now enjoys scratches & a gentle brush. Bluey isn't much of a "bum scratch" fan, but loves a head & ear rub.
Bluey had no interest in playing with toys when he first arrived at the facility, however he's now starting to get back in touch with his inner kitten. So far, he's enjoyed playing with ping pong balls & a stuffed mouse on a string. We're excited to see where this new interest takes him!
As Bluey prefers a quiet & gentle environment, we believe he would be best suited to a home with either children over 12 years of age or no children.
Unfortunately Bluey doesn't enjoy the company of other animals, so he will need a home where he can be the spoilt "only child".
Bluey will be rehomed to a family who will keep him as an inside cat only.
Bluey is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
If you think you could be that furever family for Bluey, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
His adoption fee is $260 & this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Bluey is currently located in East Maitland.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
