Hey, my name is Yubaba. I was living a hard life before coming to my Foster Mum in 2023, and I was pregnant. I had four babies and didn't have enough milk to feed them, so my Foster Mum looked after them for me and found them loving furever homes.
Iāve been too scared to trust anyoneā¦ but over the past couple of months, Iāve gradually come out of hiding. I love sitting on the window hammock, soaking up the warm sunshine. I know my Foster Mum cares about me - that's why I stay out in the open, as long as she doesnāt come too close. My Foster Mum says Iām very shy, but I truly deserve to be someoneās special girl - if theyāll be patient and let me warm up in my own time.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I haven't met any tiny humans, but think they would scare me. I've lived in a big cat family, and I never get grumpy with anyone. I've seen a couple of dogs in my time at my Foster Mum's house, and if they don't chase me, they don't bother me. I could probably live with a cat-savvy dog with a slow introduction at first.
Likes / Dislikes
I love my special wet-food morning treat and having biscuits available all the time. Iām comfortable with my Foster Mumās cats - we get along fine. I still run and hide if anyone is in a bad mood, though. I enjoy sitting on the balcony, breathing in the fresh air, and watching the world go by.
My PURR-fect home would be with someone who will give me lots of time to trust and be able to accept love and affection. I know I can make friends with another cat friend if you have one, with the right introductions, of course!
Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
