About Simba
Simba is happy to go with the flow. When it's play time he loves playing. When it's cuddle time he loves a cuddle. Whatever's doing, he's up for it.
He loves playtime, he loves cuddles, he loves staring out the window at the world outside. Simba loves everything and everyone! He loves to hang around the humans in his foster home.
When it's playtime, he can always be found in the middle of the action. But he's a gentle soul, and when playtime is over, he's the first one to come and cuddle up.
He'd be great in a household with kids and/or other cats. He's probably ok with dogs too since he's so easygoing, even though he hasn't met one yet.
Simba would be really great for any home. He's just a great all-rounder.
Medical notes
Simba and his litter had ringworm when they first came in to the rescue. It's cleared up now, but there are still some scabs on his nose from the infection which will fall off over time and the fur on his nose will grow back.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
