Carlos

Hi… I’m Carlos.
I try to stay cheerful — I wag so hard my whole body joins in — but sometimes, when the house gets quiet, I wonder why I’m still waiting. My foster family says I’m the best boy, but I can’t help wishing someone out there was calling my name.
I’ve learned so many things in hopes someone will choose me: sit, stay, spin, weave, recall, polite lead walking, crate time… I try so hard to be a dog worth loving. I’ve got lots of energy — the kind that needs play, training, adventures, and someone who understands a smart, active boy like me.
I put my whole heart into everything: fetch, tug, herding balls, chasing waves. I love people, I lean in for comfort, and I always hope someone might lean back and decide I’m theirs.
More than anything, I just want a home. Someone who sees my energy, my effort, and my love, and says, “You’re safe now, Carlos.”
I’ve been waiting so patiently.
