About Theo
Theo is a mighty hunter, and stuffed toys are his prey. Once he's caught one, he will carry it around proudly, showing everyone how clever he is to have caught something so big! You're not allowed to take his stuffed toys away from him. He earned them through hard work and stealth. He takes them away and hoards them so he can keep them forever.
He will pounce on anything that maybe moved. He has loads of energy and is a big fan of zoomies. No kid could tire him out. He could play all day.
He's great with other cats, as long as they're happy to play with him! He would love another kitty companion (or maybe to go home with one of his siblings).
He would be great in any household with lots going on where he can put all that boundless energy to good use.
Medical notes
Theo and his siblings came into the rescue with ringworm. He's got the all clear, but he still has scabs on his nose from the infection, which will fall off over time, and then the fur on his nose will grow back.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
