About Teddy
Teddy is such a cuddle-bug. He loves to be picked up and cradled like a baby. When he's in cuddle mode he must be cuddled or he will lodge a complaint!
Teddy is very food oriented. From the moment he hears food being served, he will race like a maniac from whatever part of the house he's in to make sure he gets first bite. When it comes to food, there is no such thing as waiting his turn! His turn is always first!
Teddy likes to hang out wherever his humans are, because that's his best chance of getting a cuddle. He loves playtime, and is happy playing with his siblings and the other resident cats in his foster home.
Teddy is gentle and affectionate, so he'd be great with kids. And he loves hanging out with other cats, so really any home would be perfect for him. Anywhere he can get plenty of love and cuddles.
Medical notes
Teddy and his siblings had quite severe ringworm when they came to the rescue. He’s now completely ringworm free!
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
