Beautiful Bella – Your Sweet, Cuddly Companion 💕

Meet Bella, a young Japanese Spitz who is equal parts sweetheart, cuddle bug, and playful best friend in the making! She has a soft, affectionate nature and loves nothing more than curling up on the couch with her humans after a burst of zoomies or a fun game with her ball (her new favourite discovery!). When you scoop her up she does the cutest little grunting noises and really cuddles in close, as if she never wants to let go 💖

Bella has had a bit of a slow start with socialisation, so she can be unsure at first and give a little growl when meeting new dogs. But once she realises they want to be her friend, her playful, goofy side shines through. She would thrive in a home with a confident, friendly dog or two who can show her the ropes and help build her confidence. In foster care, she spent time with another Japanese Spitz and thoroughly enjoyed playing with him.

This gorgeous girl is crate trained and sleeps through the night, though she can feel a bit sad when left alone and will let you know with a little cry. On walks, she is confident and happy, and she especially loves a good run. With the basics of training, Bella will absolutely thrive and blossom into the amazing companion she is meant to be.

Bella has shown she can be wonderful with friendly cats. She has even become best friends with one of her foster’s cats, sharing naps, kisses, and gentle play. With less cat friendly kitties, she may bark or chase, so a calm, friendly cat would be her best match.

Around people, Bella is a star. She has met kids and done well, and she is always happy to greet new friends with confidence. She is also a great travel buddy, quiet and relaxed in the car, happy to curl up and snooze on the journey.

At home, Bella is mostly quiet and calm, with only the occasional bark at loud noises like lawn mowers. She is still learning her toilet training, so regular trips outside or a home with a backyard would help her succeed. Grooming is a breeze, she has been fantastic at the groomer’s and enjoys her daily brush at home.

Bella is looking for a patient, loving forever family who can continue helping her blossom. With the right home, she will be the most loyal, cuddly, and playful companion you could ever wish for.
