Louie has been with us for three weeks now, and what a journey it’s been. When he first arrived, he was extremely scared and fragile – hiding his face in the corner, hoping we couldn’t see him. He would flinch at the lightest touch, unsure about human contact. 💔

But with time, patience, and gentle encouragement, Louie has started to come out of his shell. He’s discovered that pats actually feel pretty good, and he’s beginning to play with toys and even show little sparks of affection. Watching him grow braver each day has been such a special experience.

Please look past his cuteness and really understand that Louie is a cat who has been through a lot. He may not always be the perfect litter tray user, and he may seek comfort in being alone at first. Moving into a new home could set him back, so his adopter must be someone who truly understands that building trust takes time.

The right home for Louie will be calm, patient, and committed. If you’re looking for a confident lap cat who’s ready to play with kids from day one, Louie isn’t the right fit. But if you’re willing to give him the time, space, and unconditional love he needs, he will reward you with the most beautiful bond. 💕
