About Lola
Meet Lola, a 1yr old Chihuahua mix with a gentle heart, soulful eyes and a playful disposition. She is initially shy with new faces, but once she feels safe and comfortable, Lola blossoms into a sweet and affectionate companion who thrives on nutritious food and gentle pats, making her an incredibly loving companion for those willing to give her the space and patience she needs to adjust.
Lola loves a good game of fetch and a spirited zoomie session around the garden, but she’s equally fond of curling up on the couch for those cozy afternoon snoozes beside her favourite human. She also enjoys her walks, especially being able to sniff to her heart’s content. She is not the type of a dog to take to a dog park as this would be too traumatic and a terrifying experience for her.
While Lola is affectionate, she does experience some anxiety when left alone. A calm, patient home that provides reassurance and routine will help her feel secure. She thrives on company and would love a home where she’s not left alone for long stretches – maybe even with another friendly dog to keep her company. But not cats, as she is afraid of them.
Lola sleeps in her open crate by her carers bed and happily takes herself in and out whenever she wants too as this is her safe place. She will initially need to have a “safe space”, in her new home.
If Lola sounds like your ideal companion please reach out with any questions and apply to adopt. Lola is located in Wagga Wagga NSW.
Medical notes
Lola does have an underbite. Currently she eats without any issues but her teeth will need to be regularly vet checked.
