Meet Tiger – Your Gentle Ginger Gentleman
Tiger is a handsome, golden-coated 11-year-old short-haired ginger who is ready to find his next loving home. This sweet boy has spent the last 8 years as a cherished member of his current family, who rescued him at the age of 2. Sadly, due to the need to relocate overseas, they must make the heartbreaking decision to find him a new forever family.
Tiger is a true gentleman – affectionate in his own calm and dignified way. He’s not one for constant fuss or rough play, but when the day winds down, he loves nothing more than curling up on your chest or by your side while you relax by the TV, enjoying gentle pats and your quiet company. His heart melts for a good brushing, tasty meals, and the occasional cheesy treat.
Like many mature cats, Tiger values his personal space and will politely let you know when he’s had enough attention with a little paw push. But, give him the respect and calm environment he thrives in, and you’ll be rewarded with years of companionship, trust, and love.
Tiger enjoys ruling his own domain. He’ll happily share your bed or couch though and will be the most charming little fury campion in your life. Though he’s young at heart, Tiger appreciates a slower, more peaceful home where he can feel safe and adored.
This is what his new foster mum has had to say:
"Tiger has adapted amazingly well to his foster home. From the moment he arrived, he stepped confidently out of his carry basket and began to explore. His new housemates are two younger male cats and a small elderly dog and he seemed curious about all of them, greeting them with a gentle sniff. Having lived with another cat in his previous home, he may be happy to share his next home with another calm, friendly cat.
Tiger tends to rest quietly in his favourite places during the day, but is happy to be patted when approached. He is affectionate to his foster humans, and has an endearing habit of licking their hand or face while they're patting him. In the evening he has started to share the couch with his foster mum, and sometimes follows her to bed for a cuddle before sleep".
If you are looking for a sweet, gentle, affectionate and low maintenance little gentleman to join your home then Tiger is the cat for you.
Tiger is approximately 11 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little soul with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with him

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
