Nala

Meet the lovely Nala
Nala is as gorgeous in personality as she is in looks, a true sweetheart who is calm, friendly, and eager to please. She has a white coat and chocolate brown brindle patches. Though 35kg, because she just wants to do the right thing she is easy to handle.

Nala is dog-friendly, adores kids, and has a gentle, placid nature when out and about. She’s met people from all walks of life at the local footy and always greets them with friendliness. While she hasn’t been tested with cats, she’s shown to be gentle with all humans, loves children, and is calm around cows and sheep.
She can take a little longer to warm up to men, particularly when they enter the house or during night walks, but once she knows you, her loyalty and devotion shine through. Protective of her home and her people, Nala will let you know if someone comes close but quickly settles.

Nala has come such a long way in such a short time, demonstrating how trainable she is. She is very well-behaved — housetrained, recently doggy-door trained, recently crate trained, and knows lots of commands. She walks beautifully on lead and is polite at mealtimes. She doesn’t mind being handled, whether it’s ear cleaning, paw holding, or hopping in the bath (which she actually loves!).

With a medium energy level, Nala is the perfect balance of fun and relaxed. She’ll happily join you on adventures all day long but is just as content snoozing on the couch during lazy days. She loves playing chase, wrestling and snuggling with her little 5kg foster buddy, showing just how gentle and playful she can be.

While she loves people, she is fine to be left along in the home. Nala is fine on short car trips but can get car sick on longer drives.
Nala would thrive in an active family environment where she can be involved in daily activities and outings. She’d love a home with kids and other fur-babies to play with, but she’ll also be perfectly devoted to her people if she’s the only dog.

Nala is truly an easy-going, affectionate, and protective companion. She’s devoted, well-mannered, and absolutely gorgeous inside and out, the kind of dog that will give her family endless love, loyalty, and joy.
