About Banjo
Meet Banjo! He is a cattle dog who has all the typical cattle dog traits and is such a beautiful loyal boy. 🏆
He is a playful fellow who loves to chase balls and play with his toys. 🥎
He would suit an active 🏃♂️ family who are familiar with Australian Cattle Dogs. Banjo prefers females in the household.
He can be selective with other dogs. Banjo has always lived with another smaller dog who had a calm nature. 🐶
He has never been with cats. 🐱❌
He enjoys his daily walks and is great on his lead. 🦮
He has grown up with children and would suit a home with children over 10 years old. 👨👩👧👧
He needs a home where he can live and sleep inside with his family but have access to a secured well fenced yard 🏡✔.
Banjo can be cheeky to new people coming to the house 🏠 so would need to continue his training under AINB when finding his forever home.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
