Meet Theresa!

Theresa is a gentle, timid girl with the biggest heart bursting to give love to everyone she meets. She will start off a little nervous and unsure but once she feels safe, she becomes a cuddle monster. If you have any treats on hand, she will be your best friend in no time.

Theresa loves to plop her big body straight onto your feet, or if you're sitting, onto your lap to receive all the pats and full body cuddles she can. She feels most reassured around people, by your side being the cuddliest and sweetest companion. She has mastered the "puppy dog eyes" and has big soulful eyes that look right into your heart. You will just want to protect her at all costs!

Theresa is quite active and loves to have a play in the yard. She would love to go to a home that can bring her on daily walks and give her things to do at home to keep her mind busy.

She would really thrive in a calm, predictable home with people who can be prepared to go at her pace and provide her the stability that she needs. She would prefer to be the only dog in the home as she can be a little fearful around other dogs and would like to not have to go through the stress of living with another dog. As she is so gentle and sweet, she would be great around younger kids, once they can be nice and gentle with her.
